Wow, are those steps? I love the way the stone seems to bend in the middle, and the lovely green moss growing along it!

Excellent view of the worn stone - it is hard to think that such soft things as our feet (even clad in leather) can wear tthe steps down over a long tim through sheer weight of numbers.

indeed i got a series of shots at the fort. without being yet! inside of it. that's to come.

the stairs are actually suspended. they end somewhere arround my head. when im standing of course. i'm sure there is an explanation for this, and probably they had a good use for them. because they seem to be strategically positioned. but then again, i never toured the fort with a guide.
